Some thought it was funny, but Chinese hurdler Liu Xiang did not, and his team may take legal action against a Chinese Hospital which used a picture of the athlete on a flyer promoting a "cure" for premature ejaculation if it was proved to be using Liu's picture. Liu stumbled at the first hurdle of the men’s 110 metres heat at
London 2012 due to an injured Achilles tendon.
The flyer which allegedly shows Liu sprawled on the track with his head bowed in shame, is captioned: "Falling immediately after start! Premature ejaculation is men's unspeakable agony."
Major newspapers also carried the ad by Huifen Hospital in the southern city of Guangzhou, which is a small hospital , and has gained some notoriety due to the number of patients who had criticized it online.
A copy of the flyer was even posted online and has led to heated discussion about the use of Liu's picture.

What is premature ejaculation?
What is premature ejaculation?
It depends on who you ask. But the most agree that if you regularly come to a climax too early during sex without fulfilling your partner, you may be one of many men who are suffering from premature ejaculation (PE). As many as a third of the population is believed to be afflicted with this sexual dysfunction. Actual figures may actually be higher as this is an embarrassing problem that not many guys are willing to discuss it openly
What are the symptoms of premature ejaculation?
Premature ejaculation can be categorized by lifelong or primary or acquired or secondary. The former can be characterized by early ejaculation within a minute following intercourse. This is often accompanied by a severe lack of confidence in bed and in worst cases, an avoidance of sex altogether.
On the other hand, secondary PE is often marked by persistent ejaculation before both you and your partner wish that it happens. Guys who are experiencing secondary PE often have enjoyed fulfilling sexual relationships in the past.
Are you at risk?
Some men are at higher risks of developing premature ejaculation. These include guys who are suffering from some form of erectile dysfunction. Men who have problems with erection often subconsciously hurry through sexual intercourse for fear of losing their erections. One of the biggest contributors to early ejaculation is stress or emotional strain. This is nature's way of releasing tension that has been pent up. So men who are often emotionally stressed are at a higher risk of ejaculating early during sex.
Do you need to seek medical attention?
If your lack of sexual endurance is causing great distress to you and your partner, it is recommended that you seek medical assistance. The doctor would be able to advice on the appropriate treatment to help you cope with the problem. In some cases, the doctor will even suggest that you are not even experiencing early ejaculation, especially if it occurs only occasionally. Likewise, if you can satisfy your partner even if you do not last more than 2 to 4 minutes during intercourse, there is no real cause for concern.
Coping with premature ejaculation
There are many forms of treatments, and what you choose to use will depend on the severity of your condition. These options include natural sexual therapy and conditioning, such as the squeeze technique to re-wire your ejaculatory triggers; medications that include the use of anti-depressants or topical anesthetic creams or sprays.
The bottom line is, premature ejaculation is very common and is a treatable condition. By understanding why you are ejaculating prematurely, you can use the appropriate solutions to permanently end your ejaculation problems and achieve the coveted ability to enjoy long-lasting sex!

Best Positions To Last Longer
Here are the best sexual positions to last longer
Certain positions help you last longer. The position you use during sex is not really going to help with premature ejaculation by itself, but certain positions definitely work better when it comes to delaying ejaculation and prolonging the experience.
The basic missionary style will usually make you ejaculate the quickest. This is caused from having to use more groin muscles to thrust, and from the common excitement spike most men report when using this position. To make lasting in missionary position easier, keep your body upright. Don't lean over face to face. It's easier to stay upright if there's a pillow underneath her bottom. This also props her up for easier access and less effort when deep thrusting.
Standing up while holding her around you, or lying down and having her on top will allow you to last the longest.
Standing up is kind of awkward, but it can be very exciting and will increase your lasting time.
Having her on top is the easiest time to keep your body relaxed because you don't have to do any thrusting yourself. However, if she's on top you'll have less control of the thrusting rhythm. You'd have to tell her to stop or slow down when getting close to ejaculate, which isn't exactly the best thing to say on a first time or one-night stand.
Variations of doggy style are somewhere in the middle. They allow for easy access and good control, but like missionary position they often cause an increase in excitement.
A position where you feel relaxed and in control of your ejaculation is going to be your best bet.
It can also depend on personal preferences. Some men may 'get off' more when a woman is on top, or vice versa. Whichever makes it easier to keep your ejaculation under control is what you should begin your lovemaking session with.

An easy Tip For Premature Ejaculation
As you may already know, wearing a condom can help lessen the sensation. This results in less stimulation to the nerve endings, which results in a delayed ejaculation. This is all fine and dandy, but there is a way to 'supercharge' this method so that you can delay it even further.
How do you do this? You need to get an 'extra strength' condom. Currently the only manufacturer we know of that makes this variety is Durex. These extra strength condoms are designed to be stronger to prevent breaking, but as a side effect they will also help you last longer. Try this method tonight and I guarantee you will last considerably longer in bed.

Satisfying A Woman When You Have Premtaure Ejaculation
You are bound to have some concerns when you are trying to last long enough during sex. Whether it is about the right technique to manage your ejaculation or the right time to do it, the questions never end. Keep reading and let's discuss and address a few issues here:
Which Is Better For Improving Ejaculatory Control - Exercise or Medication?
Let's clear up the basics first. There is no medication that can help you last longer in bed if your pelvic muscles are weak to begin with. You see, medications and drugs are available but these can only increase and regulate the flow of blood to your genitals. If your muscles are weak, you will only maintain the erection for a short time even with the help of medication. So yes, exercise is one of the best ways that can help you in the long run. In fact, exercise is the essential building block that can make other techniques (including medication) succeed!
Are The Exercises Tough And Time-Consuming?
Yes, exercises such as kegel do take some time and consistent effort. But you will be amazed at how simple they are to learn and practice on your own. In fact, you don't even have to invest a separate time for it. Most of these exercises are innocuous enough that you can do them at work, while travelling or even when watching television. What about the amount of practice you need each day? How about 5 to 10 minutes? Honestly, that is a drop in the ocean considering the immense benefits you are going to get out of it.
Can I Force Myself Not To Have Premature Ejaculation?
Honestly, I wish I could when I first began on the path towards better sexual stamina! But here's the thing - premature ejaculation is mostly a learned habit acquired from young (such as your masturbatory habits that focused on quick, instant gratification). Thus it will take some time to "unlearn" and start having a longer and better sexual experience. This takes effort and practice. Premature ejaculation is not something you can control just by thinking about it - even if you have loads of willpower!
Can I Ever Satisfy My Partner If I Have PE?
Reality check: It is never about how long you last in bed. Some men can last up to 30 minutes in bed, without ever fulfilling their women. But there are guys who are 'quick shooters" (who last no more than 2 minutes of sex), yet their female partners are completely bowled over in bed! How it that possible? Simple!
Those guys make sure that their women are properly aroused and stimulated before they begin sexual intercourse. In fact, most of these women have already had an orgasm through foreplay before any penetration. That is truly the "gold standard" of lasting long enough, don't you think?

A Breathing Technique That Delays Premature Ejaculation
Developing better control over your breathing and paying close attention to it will give you a better sense of control over your entire body and arousal level. It’s no wonder that virtually every form of focused meditation or other disciplines, such as Kung Fu, involve developing control over breathing. It’s even been demonstrated that breathing can affect your overall health.
I recommend taking some time each day to perform some meditative breathing exercises. They will improve your energy, feeling of well-being, and serotonin production (which directly affects when you ejaculate).
Most men make the critical mistake of taking short fast breaths during sex. Breathing like this gets your heart pumping faster and makes you overexcited and aroused too quickly. This results in early ejaculation because it causes an abundant release of hormones and a rapid rise in arousal level.
You will last longer in bed by simply paying attention to your breathing and breathing slower. Always maintain slow, semi-deep breathing throughout the entire session. It’s especially critical to do this right from the beginning. If you wait until the last second it will be much harder to reverse the situation.
Here is a quick breathing technique you can use if you’re getting too close to ejaculation.
Triangular Breathing
This type of breathing technique is used in Yoga and other similar types of meditation. Its purpose is to bring about a deep level of calmness and relaxation. As for premature ejaculation, it helps because it can relieve performance anxiety and lower your arousal to a level that’s easier to control. In addition, it will keep you calm and increase serotonin production.
How to do triangular breathing (it can be done while having sex):
1. Inhale for 3 seconds.
2. Pause and hold for 3 seconds.
3. Exhale for 3 seconds.
4. Instantly start over.
It’s that simple.
As you can see, with this technique you are breathing at equal intervals, and you’re doing it three times. It’s like a triangle, which has three equal sides; hence, triangular breathing.
In regards to the 3 seconds, this was just an example. You can choose an interval of whatever you prefer. Choose an interval that is comfortable and works for you personally.
Starting out, you will probably count the seconds in your head as you breathe. Eventually, you’ll get the hang of it so you don’t have to. Sometimes though, when arousal or excitement goes a little too far, it’s a good idea to count the seconds and focus solely on the breathing, as this will help relax you and temporarily take your mind off the arousal.
At first most people would probably think this technique and breath control in general wouldn’t do much in regards to lasting longer, but honestly you should really give this a try. I think you will be quite surprised with the results. You will feel a lot more in control and your arousal will stay in check much easier.

Regulating Arousal Helps Control Premature Ejaculation
Intense arousal can contribute to premature ejaculation.
Here is an extract from Ejaculation Trainer:
Arousal control is crucial to learn if you want to last longer and delay ejaculation. Learning to control arousal should be one of your main objectives right from the very beginning.
Let me be clear that this isn't about shunning out arousal and taking away the wonderful pleasures of sex. That only makes things worse for both parties (because women can sense when you're not paying attention or not enjoying the act, and it turns them off). Also, trying to avoid arousal will only make you more sensitive to it.
The approach in the Ejaculation Trainer is simply to learn how to regulate arousal so you can allow yourself to go through the arousal-pleasure process slower, so that you adequately satisfy your lady, and so that you too can get more out of the deal, including long-lasting sensual sex, and, of course, a more explosive orgasm for the finale.
By controlling your arousal, you prevent an overabundance of energy (by energy, I mean blood, hormones, neurochemistry, and chemical reactions) from building up and causing ejaculation and orgasm. You're basically keeping your body from activating the ejaculation-inducing sympathetic system, by keeping yourself relaxed and in a parasympathetic state. Learning to control arousal will also aid in building your tolerance for receiving physical and mental sexual stimulation.
Someone with the ability to control arousal can remain physically and mentally calm, clear minded, and relaxed for long periods of time throughout a sexual encounter. It's not that they aren't aroused; they're just able to get to a certain level of arousal and stay there. The more you practice and become familiar with your body and sexual response, the longer you'll be able to maintain control.
Before you learn how to control arousal, it's important to understand how it works. First of all, no one can fully explain exactly how arousal and the human sexual response operate. There is just too much physiology, psychology, and unknown phenomenon at work to comprehend. Different religions and cultures have surprisingly different opinions on how it all works.
Regardless, different people have different opinions on sexual arousal. I classify arousal into four basic stages that are easy to comprehend. Get familiar with these stages and become self-aware of the process as it happens throughout your body.
Stage 1 - A physical and/or a mental sensation triggers arousal and the penis begins to fill with blood, resulting in an erection.
Stage 2 - The erection becomes fuller as arousal continues to climb. In this stage, you have a full erection and everything should feel relaxed and under your control. Heart rate increases slightly. Your scrotum will hang fairly loose. In this stage, your parasympathetic system is more active than the sympathetic.
Stage 3 - Arousal becomes more intense and begins to take hold. Warm sensations develop in the genital area because more energy/blood has been drawn there. The Glans (penis head) increases in size, which results in an increased sensitivity. The scrotum and testicles snug up to the penis. Heart rate increases and breathing becomes more rapid. Ejaculation and orgasm seem imminent. The sympathetic system becomes more active and the calming effects of the parasympathetic system fade away.
Stage 4 - The intense arousal and continued mental and physical stimulation has led to a buildup of energy in the pelvic/genital area, causing your nervous system to become stimulated enough to prepare for ejaculation. The perineal muscles contract as ejaculation and orgasm occur.
Many men go through life never paying attention to their arousal levels, let alone trying to control them. Many, however, subconsciously develop arousal control as they get older and more sexually active. This is a typical case of "It gets better with experience." However, if you follow the methods and approach in the Ejaculation Trainer you can dramatically speed this 'learning process' up and develop complete arousal control in a matter of a few weeks.
Keep in mind, there is no time frame for these stages of arousal. The whole process can happen in a minute or an hour; it just depends on how fast you allow it to happen. Naturally, because of our body's urge to reproduce, it will happen quickly if left uncontrolled.
What's even more important to understand is that getting to stage 3 can be done without any physical stimulation. This is why most men ejaculate prematurely! They were already in stage 3 by the time they started stimulation! This is just like what happened to the guy from American Pie, except he went all the way to stage 4 before stimulation (that can actually happen too, and if it does, you really need to calm down and clear your head). As I mentioned, the arousal process can happen very quickly if not kept under control; it's only human nature.
There is more information about arousal and some innovative techniques to control it in the ebook Ejaculation Trainer.
